Vakow! is a Mumbai based Internet/Mobile startup focused on building community around mobile content. Since its launch it has been covered far and wide and has received fantastic reviews from customers and bloggers.
Vakow! is founded by IIT Bombay alumni (RG and Amitu) and is funded by one of the largest Internet portals in India.
If you're a engineer who is technically brilliant, can handle ambiguity, can learn quickly and would like to play David Vs Goliath, then we would really like to hear from you.
You will:
- Conceptualize, prototype, build, test and launch new products and features.
- Multi-task most of the time and learn new technologies as and when required.
- Be an integral member of our very small and passionate team.
- Have fun.
Skills:
Depending on your expertise on frontend or backend web development you're required to have some of the following skills*.
- LAMP (Python)
- CSS, HTML/XHTML/WAP
- Javascript
- Flash/ActionScript
- MySQL
